This is the home of The Graphic Reader. Originally a site for book reviews, I repurposed it while in school to showcase my projects and progress. Now that I have graduated, I'm slowly shifting it back over to book reviews.

  I have spent most of my life working with comic books and have always felt they are a fantastic gateway to literacy at any age. I am a strong proponent of allowing people to read what they want. However, I try to temper that against a prospective reader's age and perceived maturity level (I currently work with elementary and middle school-aged children, so I have to be cognizant of what I share with them).
